We publish trade-specific buying guides and comparisons, and we track prices on safety gear and tools so you can tell a real deal from a fake one.
How We Pick Gear
We don’t run a test lab, and we won’t pretend to. Our guides are built from manufacturer specs, published safety ratings (ANSI, ASTM, NIOSH), and long-term feedback from the people who use this gear every day. Every recommendation comes with its drawbacks spelled out, and every pick is matched to the kind of work it’s actually right for.
How We Pick Deals
We track the prices of the gear our guides recommend and flag a deal only when a product drops well below its own recent price — not just below an inflated “list price.” The deals page also shows daily Amazon discounts on tools, safety gear, and workwear, filtered to leave out products that have nothing to do with the trades.
